Zombie Bewbs (Updated)

The obligatory Collector's version of Riptide, titled the Zombie Bait edition, has been revealed. Quite literally. Containing the staple of the Collector's editions (the steelbook and art book) a DLC pack, and an immediately controversial "grotesque take on an iconic Roman marble torso sculpture". A brutally disfigured, Union Jack bikini wearing, silicone enhanced female resort goer. Maybe they just want to show us that shameless media controversy isn't reserved exclusively to EA. Honestly, I don't find it all that disturbing. In poor taste, certainly, but they must have known that right from the outset. It's a dangerous path to take however, and could lead to a hefty backlash. Or, it could have precisely the effect they're hoping for. Gaining more attention. Only time will tell, but feel free to munch the brains of our comments section with your thoughts. Let's conduct a small trending survey of our own.
Update: A speedy response has now come back after yesterday's controversy. "For now, we want to reiterate to the community, fans and industry how deeply sorry we are, and that we are committed to making sure this will never happen again," remarked a representative of Deep Silver after an inquiry by Polygon sparked by the violent backlash. They also stated they would be assessing ongoing feedback from the Dead Island community, and would take efforts to ensure this never happens again. The Zombie bait edition, however, shows no signs of being reworked or pulled from distribution.

I would love to have that CE. It's unique, at least.
