Bohemia Interactive today released the free Zeus DLC for ARMA 3. Announced two months ago, ARMA 3 Zeus lets people assume the role of Game Master and curate the multiplayer experience of other players.

As the Game master your perspective changes to a bird’s eye view and you essentially become god. Your options are almost limitless ranging from spawning enemies, and weapon drops to lightning strikes, tracer fire and smoke. There are even options to play specific music or radio messages.

All this means you can create custom missions for your friends on the fly and hear their reactions immediately as you spawn an armoured patrol, giving it a route that takes it dangerously close to your friends.

With so many options I’m sure we will be seeing many new and exciting missions from the community. The best part of all this? It’s absolutely free.
