A few months ago 2K and Firaxis announced XCOM 2, a sequel set 20 years after Enemy Unknown. The announcement came with screens and, shortly thereafter, a gameplay trailer. Today Firaxis have released a load of screenshots that look just as good. Check out our gallery below.

The screens show improved visuals and a much wider array of character customisation options compared to Enemy Unknown as well as images of new weapons and facilities for your XCOM base.
