A countdown has begin on the Witcher website, titled 'Killing Monsters' it seems to be for a two day period. Unless it started before today and we just missed it. There's also a link for 'goodies' below it, which includes images and music files. What, precisely, this is all about, at this stage, is anyone's guess. Possibly something to do with the reveal of a new enemy? Or a new video? Perhaps a demo? Maybe even a release date? We just don't know. But the images are gorgeous and the music is superb, so I'm sure they'll keep you distracted long enough for us to dig up something more.

Update: An interesting cinematic trailer has now been released to tie in with the cryptic countdown. But what does it all mean?!
