Yes you have read the news right, PAC-MAN is back in an all new 3D adventure game. PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures, which is based on the hit TV series of the same name. This time around PAC is taking on not only the scared blue ghosts, but some of the Netherworld ghosts that will provide a challenge for our pill-popping friend.

The pills are making a comeback and instead of just turning the ghosts blue ready to be eaten, they allow you to freeze and burn the ghosts. Other new effects of the pills are that you can turn PAC-MAN into a bouncing rubber ball, spinning top and giant granite ball. A multiplayer mode is included which will allow you to play as Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde – the original ghosts from the arcade, as if you didn't know already. The game is also full of classic unlockable 2D arcade style mini-games.

Besides Namco Bandai efforts to promote PAC-MAN by projecting him on the SEGA building in London, he is back spreading some sunshine yellow all around the capital. Not even the phone boxes were safe, which in my opinion...they look pretty cool. With the photographic proof one thing is for sure, PAC is back, so tell a friend.
