When The Light Fades…
...The zombies come out to play. Back in June we covered the announcement that, like Techland's other project Hellraid, Dying Light's release date would be pushed back into 2015. But out of this year's Gamescom, we have another trailer to tide us over in the mean time for the upcoming zombie-slaying action game (with Parkour!).
Dying Light sets players down in an open 'urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic'. The new trailer gives a quick look at the game's open world and how players will need to break out their Parkour skills in order to survive it and scavenge for supplies. You can use what you find to craft weapons in order to 'help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created'. The trailer also shows that players can customise the look of their badass zombie slayer. The video closes with a reminder that, whilst during the day you may be a badass hunter, at night you are very much the less badass prey with more zombies and more enemy aggro during this part of the game's time cycle. Check out the trailer above.
Dying Light will be available in February 2015 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
