It won’t be long now until the wait will be over for one of the most anticipated titles of the year. Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, the game that is only five months late, is finally available for pre-order. Now before you all get excited and start running around naked, there is a catch...the pre-order is unavailable for us UK gamers at this moment in time.

Anyone who tries to view the Steam store link from UK will get a message that politely tells us “The item is not available in your country.” Thinking that this was a bad link, I went to the UK steam store and searched for Watch Dogs. Unfortunately I could find no listing of the game on there. But if you go the SteamPrices.com website, you will clearly see the price and release date for the rest of the world. The specs for the minimum and recommended hardware were also released and it is going to need a very beefy rig to run it at the recommended settings. An Eight core processor for the recommended, with the minimum being a quad-core means that the CPU rather than the GPU will be the biggest contributor here. Here are the full specs:

This is the latest chapter in the Watch Dog story. I am unsure what to make of the fact that the pre-order is available to everyone except UK gamers at the moment. When it is available for pre-purchase here, the price should be around the £40 mark which is becoming an unsettling standard.
