Ah, Half-Life. We all remember it as the clever and innovative shooter which took the gaming world by storm back in 1998. Now you can watch some alpha footage of the very same game, something not quite as polished and a little bit... awkward. But boy does it have its old school charm.

With rooms showing off AI, water monsters and... walking animations, this nine minute video certainly is a trip down memory lane. It shows off a younger version of the legend we all know and love, but one with the same view to taking on the established order of first person shooters. It is also an interesting insight into the development process of the game, as well as the origins of several concepts found in the final release.
