Watch Dogs New Multiplayer Footage
Watch Dogs is the anticipated open-world action game is confirmed to launch in May since the delay. Game developer Ubisoft has treated us to a new 9-minute trailer that goes into more depth about the multiplayer mode.
The video reveals that the multiplayer will feature a number of different game modes. One example showed two players hunting each other, using hacks to find each other’s location, and one taking the other out.
Another mode allows one player to utilise a free app for iOS and android, which allows him or her to control hackable items in the city. The goal of the mobile player is to prevent the others (who are on the console or the PC) from reaching a checkpoint.
The final one revealed pits players in an up to 8v8 death match. The goal is for one team to acquire a file and decrypt it before the other team can kill them. This final mode shows a lot of tactics and different ways to win the match, from distractions, ambushes, to simply storming in by force.
Watch Dogs will be released on the 27th of May, for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. A version for the Wii U is being developed but will be released in the fourth quarter of 2014.
