Though I personally didn't find War of the Roses all that entertaining, I cannot deny the tireless effort developer Fatshark put into fixing the game up, supporting it and releasing new content post-release. Quite an admiral job. Now, they're ready to move on with the series. The sequel, as teased above, will leave the Rose wars in favor of the Vikings and their invasion of the British Isles. Through battles supporting up to 64 players, you'll have the chance to choose between playing as a Saxon and a Viking.

The game is set for release early next year, but is already in Alpha. In fact, you can apply to join in on that alpha if you wish.
