In typical Telltale style, we have some teasing screenshots (only two this time) for their next episode (The Walking Dead season 2) which tell us...absolutely nothing about what the upcoming release will contain. And yet, at the same time, in typical Telltale style, the immediate reaction is ZOMGINEEDTHISINMYLIFE! The first of them, shown above, is almost certainly from the opening moments of the episode, as it shows Clementine still surrounded by the herd of Walkers. For those who don't know, major spoiler warning here.

Episode 3 ended with Clementine cutting Sarita's arm off...probably.

You also had the option to kill the Walker munching on her arm, but come on, did anyone seriously go with that option? I think not. Unless you're some kind of crazy sadist...which you probably are considering it's a Telltale game, and I quite happily sat and watching (spoiler again) Kenny bash the shit out of Carver's face until it was, literally, a blob of pulverised meat. So...yeah, anyway. The first image is pretty much immediately after that, whilst the second is clearly significantly later, as most of the group have come back together and Luke, still feeling insecure about being outdone by an eleven(ish) year old girl, now has a Kalashnikov assault rifle. It's also snowing for some reason, meaning it's either suddenly become Winter, or they've made some significant process in their migration North.

Now, the most important thing to take away from all this, aside from how bloody impatient I am to get my hands on it, is that we won't have to be impatient for much longer. Just have a quick look back at Telltale's history and you'll know. First they release some pictures to whet our appetites, then they give us a trailer to drive us into a frenzy a week later...then they release after that. So I'm calling a release date of July 22nd. 'Cause they always release on Tuesdays.
