Valve Cracks Down on Quitters

Team Fortress 2' Mann Vs Machine update is taking a new zero tolerance stance on quitters, the darn cowards! Changes have been made to those who abandon games, causing considerable annoyance to those left fighting the robot hoards by themselves.
The penalties are as follows for repeat 'abandoners':
"Penalties will be imposed on players who repeatedly abandon games. These players will be temporarily placed in a low-priority pool and will experience longer matchmaking times."
How do you know if you're abandoning a game?
You leave a game while playing a Mann Up game on an official server; and
You have not played through a single wave to completion or failure; and
There are 5 or more players currently connected to the server (including you).
This means that if you crash out or your connection drops, your spot will be reserved for three minutes, allowing you a chance to get back in. Other than that, those frequent quitters beware, longer matchmaking times await you! The MvM mode itself does have a problem with quitters. Nothing is more annoying then getting to the final wave and having someone leave, meaning you face the same number of bots with even greater difficulty.
