30 hours after the Kickstarter Project for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 went live; the game hit its target. The $65,000 was achieved in double quick time, now with 37 days remaining and the funding currently sitting at $81,124 (at time of writing), the aim now is stretch goals. $95,000 is the next total, and if this gets hit then we will see side quests and outfits for the game.

"It is good to know that there are many players out there who enjoy big, classic adventure games. For The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 we purposely decided to steer clear of some current trends and aimed the game at core gamers, gave it a large scale, put the focus clearly on puzzles and classic gameplay. We are extremely pleased that fans also share our views and generously pledged their support."

As a thank you to the backers, KING Arts released a short, comedy video which features Willbur and Nate showing off. The video is a nice touch featuring the characters supposedly giving their view on the good news. So come on people, let us see if we can get the stretch goals hit to make this game great.
