Unified Creed
It seems that Kotaku, despite my initial skepticism, were bang on the money yesterday. This year's Assassin's Creed game (one of them at least) is indeed Unity and takes us to the time of the French Revolution. Well, the second part of that still remains speculation at this point, but the setting is certainly somewhere in France. This newly released teaser confirms that with the French flags flapping in the breeze left, right and centre.
What we do know, for certain, is that the game is called Unity, is set in France at...some point, and according to Ubi, has already been in the works for three years. Which, if I'm doing my Maths right, means they were even working on it before they started on Black Flag?! I think. For everything else, well, we'll just have to wait and see. But following their usual release schedule, we should expect to start receiving definite details around June, with a release date some time in October.
I just really hope they don't spam us with two videos per day! During the last two or three weeks before launch. Because this one I am most certainly interested in looking into.
