Trailer is Strange

With release (for episode one) moving ever closer, Don't Nod have graced us with a trailer. In short, shut up and take my money.

Whilst is doesn't reveal a great deal of new information, it does set, via the use of a truly superb musical score, a certain ambience that one cannot help but be drawn in by. It succeeds in equal measure at ensuring that the pretentious swines (such as myself) amongst us will be able to psuedo-philosophise until the cows come home, throw a barn party, get married, have three kids, build a house in the country, retire to cansas and see theiur grandchildren go back out to pasture. And at the same time assures everyone else it will be, for lack of a better term, a real game too.

The video itself, on the other hand, shows us a little more of what the plot contains, such as murder, teenaged melancholoy, isolation and self reflection. As well as teasing a few more of the influences the developement team have drawn from. First it was The Butterfly Effect, now Doonie Darko is creeping in there to.

So, again.

Shut up and take my money.
