Is it just me, or is X Rebirth kind of beautiful? This trailer is no exception. The lengthy video aims to explain how the trading and mining systems work in the latest iteration of the X-series. Both systems seem to have micro and macro elements, where you can order others to do the work for you, or you can fold up your space sleeves and do it yourself to ensure that the job gets done right.
Check the trailer out, and if you have a soul, you will be left in awe at the majestic deep space environments we will apparently get to explore in Rebirth. There are still two months between us and the release of the game, but I can already feel the butterflies waking up in my stomach. The developers are even looking into making the game compatible with the Oculus Rift at some point too. Neat!
Also, why didn't anyone tell me that Bis18marck70 did the voice-over work for this trailer?!

You'll probably be able to get new ships through expansions or DLCs or whatever.

According to the forums etc, yes youre stuck to that one ship. You can upgrade it etc.
I havent heard anything about changing ships completely like in the other games. I know you can have a fleet.
