Remember Toki Tori, the cute little platformer that we were introduced to back in 2010 on Steam? Well, you're all in luck as Two Tribes has officially announced on their official website, the release date on Steam for their sequel, as well as the name change from Toki Tori 2 to Toki Tori 2+ which will be officially released on the 2nd of July.

Toki Tori is an indie platformer puzzler that challenges players to collect eggs in different levels with different abilities, weapons and tools at your disposal, but some of these are very limited, which is where the puzzling part kicks in.

Two Tribes is promising more content for the incoming Steam release, such as more puzzles, Steam Workshop Integration along with a level editor, achievements and also the promise of refining and improving a lot of the gameplay mechanics and presentation of the game. It is expected to cost around the same price as the Wii U version ($14.99/£12.99), but no official confirmation on the price as of yet.

Toki Tori was a very challenging experience. It looks cute, but on the inside it is very challenging though fun experience, so as the saying goes for this one, looks can be very deceiving! Let's all hope for this one to be as equally challenging and even more fun!
