Deep Silver, the people that gave us Dead Island: Riptide, and Saints Row IV released a reveal trailer of the next instalment of their highly successful Sacred Franchise. In Sacred 3, players are taken back to Ancaria, in a hope that they will band together to rid the land of evil. Sacred 3 will feature classic arcade hack'n'slash action, which will be centred on drop in, drop out co-op multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players).

Remy van Leeuwen, Brand Manager of Deep Silver said: "The paramount development goal for Sacred 3 has been to create a seamless online and offline co-op experience." "By creating a game built around the central concept of co-op gameplay, we're expanding the series to new audiences without compromising the rich lore and fantasy of the Sacred universe."

There will be the return of fan-favourite characters like Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safir, with a new character introduced, Malakhim. Each character class will have its own unique weapons and skills, which will be able to be upgraded depending on the player's combat style. Inclusion of online leaderboards and mission stats will help drive competition on, both locally and online. Victory Is Ours. Glory is Mine. The game will be out summer 2014, and I can't wait to see if this will be another great instalment in the series.
