The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Monsters
Harpies, Gryphons, Werewolves, Drowners, Sirens, Leviathans, and people; The Witcher 3 seems to have all sorts of horrible, nightmarish monsters in it, but as anyone who's played the Witcher games before, the most fearsome monster of them all is the Witcher.
Witchers as characters are all monstrous in their own ways, but even the Witcher games are monstrous beasts as far as content goes. Not only will The Witcher 3 have all of those creatures mentioned before, it also promises a "complex behavior system" which turns what would be randomly spawning monsters waiting to be attacked in any other game, into animals actively hunting and stalking each other.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Witcher 3 is looking like it's going to be a game of the year contender and one of the best open world RPG's ever. That's just the presumption of a one games journalist, but any game that looks to books and folklore to carefully craft its monsters has my support.
