The WarZ Enters Beta
The War Z made its transition into beta Tuesday with new playable characters, clan chat and tag support, more purchasable items, and additions to its large Colorado map. Its developer, Hammerpoint, has also switched up its pre-purchase editions of the game with $15/£9, $25/£15, and $50/£31 options providing guest keys and in-game cash, available at their site.
Sergey Titov, Executive Producer at Hammerpoint, made a forum post outlining the upcoming features for The War Z’s planned Foundation Release later this month. It includes a new antihack, Steam release, and a slew of other features that will be coming out over the coming months up to August of next year.
