The Walking Retail

Applauded as one of the most mature (genuinely mature, not just violence and dick jokes) game series ever made, Telltale's The Walking Dead is shambling and shuffling its way to a boxed retail release. At present only available to the Americas, with no clear indication of when, or even if, there will be an international distribution. However, the good news for our cousins across the pond is that it is already available for purchase (the tricksy little zombieses!) and for the rest of us...well, the PC has no region coding, so it's hardly a major concern. And priced at an extremely comendable $29.99 for thye complete first season, 400 Days DLC and the soundtrack, this is nothing to be scoffed at.
To date, the series has alrady shipped in excess of 21 million units solely through digital distribution, and I expect we shall see that number increase significantly in the not too distant future. Considering the sheer amount of extra content, which also includes several behind the scenes videos and such, even those, like myself, who already own the entire collection via Steam have ample incentive to pick it up again. Not to mention the upcoming season 2 which is to due to be made available before the end of the year. This make me wonder though, will we see the same treatment for The Wolf Among Us?
