The Void Comes - Legacy of the Void Gets Release Date, Cinematic

Blizzard has always had a knack for creating absolutely gorgeous cinematics to go with their games, and the opening film for Legacy of the Void looks to be no different. Zerglings, Banelings, even an Ultralisk clash with Zealots, a Probe, and Templars representing the first push to take back their homeworld of Aiur.

If that all seems a bit much to you, remember that back in the first StarCraft, as a sign of the Protoss's arrogance, they allowed their homeworld to become infested with the Zerg Overmind, along with (presumably) billions of members of the Zerg mind. After a period of civil war and conflict on other planets, and after five in-universe years (and four games), the Protoss seem set to reclaim their homeworld, and attempt to bring peace to the solar system once again. While there's no guarantee that Legacy of the Void will answer all of the plot's questions, I'd be willing to bet that it'll get most, if not almost all of them out of the way.

As far as a release date is concerned, it's set for November 10th, 2015. As in, the same day that Fallout 4 is scheduled for release, and four days after Black Ops 3 is released. It goes without saying that November is going to be a busy month for game releases, but we'll have more about Legacy of the Void as it approaches.
