The Last Crown: Blackenrock is part of The Last Crown trilogy of point and click horror games that's being published by Iceberg Interactive and developed by Darkling Room. The upcoming game, Blackenrock, just released their teaser trailer featuring a haunted mansion, a ghost, and some spooky atmosphere.

What makes The Last Crown unique is that it's not so much about running from ghastly horror from the realm of the dead as much as it is about capturing footage of them and getting closer to understanding what the dead want.

"Nigel Danvers is haunted. Ever since a brief but disturbing experiment with a Spiritboard, he has felt someone, or something, calling to him. What is the significance of the word 'Blackenrock'? Is it a name, an item, an event, a place?"

The first game received mixed review for its interesting concept but "glacial" pacing, but seeing as how Blackrock is the sequel, there's a good chance that things like that pacing are being changed.

No release date yet, but Blackenrock has been in development for nearly a year now, so expect to see one sooner rather than later.
