The Killer is Not Dead to PC
Deep Silver, the publishers that brought us Metro: Last Light, has announced that they are to release the hit console game Killer is Dead on PC. Coming May 9, the game will have a special edition released for PC called "Killer is Dead – Nightmare Edition", which will be available at both retail and as a digital download. The price will be 19.99 EUR/USD/GBP.
For those who have never played the game, you take control of an Executioner called Mondo Zappa. He is a bad-ass who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand, and interchangeable weapons in his artificial left hand. Set in the not-to-distance future, his mission is to take out the most dangerous criminals scattered around the world and beyond.
The PC version contains the following extra features:
• New difficulty mode called Nightmare Mode. In this mode, enemies can only be defeated using the following attacks: Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, Headshots, so the gameplay requires far more skill and tactics. Players will not be able to use the Final Judgement finisher (QTE mode) to defeat enemies
• Smooth Operator Pack for console will be included and unlocked after Episode 3.
• Theater Mode - Rewatch cutscenes and get extended background information on characters, helping to unravel the story after your 1st playthrough
This is good news for PC gamers, as take it from someone who has played the console version (yes I know, hangs my head is shame). But seriously, check it out May 9.
