The Harsh Realities of Memory Sharing
Remember Me, that awesome looking, combo brawling Capcom game that focuses on how memories affect our personalities and humanity, has released another trailer showing us exactly what protagonist Nilin can do when she hacks into people's memory recording implants - and it's some scary-awesome stuff! After stealing a memory, she can render it in real time to learn passcodes, or avoid unseen hazards. Alternatively, if stealing memories isn't going to cut it, you can enter certain enemies' minds to alter their memories, which in turn alters their personality. Finally, since your memories are erased at the beginning of the game, most of the combat training you receive will be through the memories of your allies, and their knowledge of your former abilities will fuel your rediscovery of abilities that cannot be taught.
Remember Me is available now for pre-order on Steam, and is set to hit stores in early June. All I can say is that I'm incredibly excited to see something so unique make it to stores with the way this industry has been trending, and I'm really hoping that it'll be a hit.

I'm open to anything I haven't tried yet when it comes to games, and I've never used a digital person to hack into other peoples memories....plus, it'd probably give me stuff to mull over, and think deeply about, which is always a plus when it comes to games these days.

But it's so trite and cliche. I've heard the exact same thing dozens, maybe even hundreds of times before.
And Nilin? Are you freaking kidding me?!
SYMBOLISM!

I've been looking forward to this game for such a long time and I can't wait to get my hands on this. I have a bit of a soft spot for sci fi that explores the nature of memory and I can't wait to see for myself what Remember Me does with it. I've got high hopes after seeing this trailer.

Eh. Just...eh.
Seems like a painfully contrived, generic pile of eh
