The last DLC for Battlefield 4 is approaching and EA's marketing is going into high gear as well. As usual, Final Stand brings four new maps: Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Giants of Karelia and Hangar 21. Three maps are clearly set in the Siberia area and the Russian Far East, while the precise location of Hammerhead is unknown. The expansion as the whole deals with experimental futuristic weapons, potentially serving as a bridge between BF4 and a potential new BF game set in the future (not Hardline).

The release date of this DLC has not been announced yet, and that is the good news. DICE has already tested Final Stand maps on CTE servers and plans some more tests in the future. Considering that BF: Hardline will not release until next year, there is enough time for the developers to polish and balance both the DLC and BF4 itself. So far, it really seems they are doing just that.
