The Evil Within The Tokyo Game Show
Will you be able to live with yourself knowing what I'm going to make you do?
So asks The Evil Within's hooded villain, Ruvik, in the opening of the game's new Tokyo Game Show trailer. The trailer opens with main character Sebastian Castellanos bloody and limping away. Alongside Ruvik's menacing voice over, the game's main musical motif, Debussy's Clair de Lune, also makes a reappearance and overlays the scene. We again see that familiar shot of a field of sun flowers and from there things get much less serene; we see Sebastian in various perilous situations, his partner Julie Kidman possibly facing a watery demise and we also see what looks like the pair's other partner, Joseph Oda, looking an awful lot worse for wear. This trailer certainly focuses on the 'everything trying to kill you in the face' aspect of gameplay.
The Evil Within will be released for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 on October 14th in North America and in Europe. You can check out the game's official website here.
