The Division Still Looking Gorgeous
Tom Clancy's The Division, if nothing else, will be one of the most gorgeous games to come out next year. There's not much information on The Division's crafting or gameplay besides that it's a shooter mixed with an RPG, but if these pictures are any representation of what's to come, The Division might have the most beautiful town full of death and disease since The Last of Us.
With any luck, The Division will stay as gorgeous as it's looking right now and not pull a Watch Dogs on us. You can be expecting a lot more updates about it though, because the Division will be out for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows sometime next year.

Exactly. That's what I was trying to say. Or, if they really wanted it to look like the early footage, but just couldn't because of optimisation or something, all they had to do was say "we had to change to look like this because..." and, as long as it wasn't clearly bullshit, we'd all be like "that's cool, fanks fr bein' onist."
Instead, they're Ubisoft

Yeah even the more "shoddy"-looking ones like Watch Dogs, if they had shown the REAL footage from the beginning, no one would be upset.

Aye, but I mean. If it had been shown looking that way from the very beginning, there'd be nothing to forgive

SOME of the games, yes. Like Far Cry 3. It looked amazing, so we all just forgave the fake bullshots.

The annoying part is, the games still look good even after being trimmed down. The only reason we're pissed is because we don't see what it really looks like until release. If they just showed the retail version from the beginning, or were at least honest about the fact they couldn't maintain the fidelity because >reasons< we'd like them a hell of a lot more.
There is a massive difference between spin and lies

People that actually played the game on gamescom already said that it doesn't look as good as the shown pictures/videos.
Ubisoft - The king of bullshots.

I can't trust it either after Watch Dogs.

And it's still Ubisoft, so you can't trust the footage.
