Today, fellow gamers, I am pleased and more than a little mystified to bring you the first screenshots for Space Hulk: Deathwing. The upcoming first person shooter set in the Warhammer 40k universe from Streum and Focus Home. Pleased because it looks really damn nice and mystified because...it looks really damn nice! A lot better than I was expecting. In fact, it honestly looks almost too good to be true. Streum are not exactly known for being on the cutting edge of graphical fidelity. Hell, Streum aren't exactly known for...they're not exactly known!

On the other hand, despite generally falling ino the more unremarkable, painfully average range of visuals, Focus have a track history of being extremely honest with pre-release representations of the final product for games they publish. Leaving me in the odd position of looking at these with skepticism, because they don't have the backing of an industry leader and fifty bajillion dollars behind them, whilst being consciously aware of the trasnparency repeatedly demonstrated by Focus in the past. Leaving me with the final analysis of...whoia, dude...this looks really fricken' nice!
