The Assault Continues in these Screenshots

By Toast29-08-2013

It'll soon be time to head back to war, with the announcement last month of Men of War: Assault Squad 2 where we showed off a couple of screenshots of the on-going assault (let's pretend we've travelled back in time 70 years or so ago, shall we?) Now we've got a bunch more for you to feast your eyes on, a bit of eye candy for you tank enthusiasts, if you will. It certainly confirms the return of all the super powers of the World War 2 era, which will feature new theatres of war to face off against the axis or allies. Digitalmindsoft previously released a statement about what to expect from the new Assault Squad entry, which is to feature some new things and improvements:

"This new Assault Squad game brings significant game engine and visual improvements as well, with special attention paid to ones that were highly requested by the players. These included items such as advanced multi-core support, advanced shader technology, interface and AI improvements, as well as added camouflage depending on season/map, fully updated inventory items with new graphics and updated vehicles, sound improvements, Steam multiplayer and much more."

You can also expect an expanded a range of new multiplayer maps to play against your friends or foes in 1vs1 duels, or you can battle it a huge battle like skirmish with 8vs8 maps on an epic scale! Hopefully we'll also see the return of every playable army from both the axis and allies from the first Assault Squad, and hopefully more will be added, always fun to experience new sides of the war that haven't been covered a lot. The game still has a planned release date at some point at the end of 2013 in Q4, which doesn't give us a lot of time to prepare for the offensive assaults, so take heed to my warning, prepare for the incoming invasion later this year!
