As those following the news regarding the upcoming MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online already know, the PvP Warzone is planned to be set within Cyrodiil, the main setting of the Elder Scrolls Oblivion, the highly successful predecessor to the even more wildly successful Skyrim. Zenimax lead PvP designer Brian Wheeler has stated that "Cyrodiil in our timeline will look very familiar to Oblivion, however much more spread out." Good news considering how small the older setting felt within Oblivion. He has also stated on the Elitist Jerk Forum that it will take approximately half an hour to cross from one end to another. There will of course be points of interest scattered throughout, with "specific choke points" and towns offering quests, as well as the expected ruins and dungeons offering more PvE content.
