Yo jurors! Gonna keep this brief. In December, 2014 I brought you a review of Episode 1 of Tales From The Borderlands. I thought it was pretty good. In March, 2015 I brought you a review of Episode 2. I thought it was even better.

Now Episode 3 is on deck to release in a few weeks. I should be jazzed up, but I’m not...not yet. 3 months between episodes is proving to be a fairly long time. Long enough for me to forget about the game actually. When the boss mentioned that Episode 3 was coming it took me a second to register what game he was talking about.

And there lies the problem with episodic games. When the episodes are a quarter of a year apart people tend to move on to other games. Between Episode 2 and now, we’ve had high profile games like Project CARS and The Witcher 3 come out and now Episode 3 is due to release on June 23rd...the same day as Batman: Arkham Knight. That’s a problem.

I want this series to succeed, because I want to see the possibility of a season two. But this release schedule troubles me. Hopefully, once I get hands on with it I’ll forget all my worries as I once again start laughing hysterically at Rhys’ and Fiona’s hijinks...but I’ll have to put Batman down to do it.
