Take On Mars is a rover simulator, which allows you to remotely explore Mars and some other space objects. As an early access game, it is still in development and its feature are not yet complete. The latest 'Workbench' update includes the development tools for the mod making. The game is modular and the new tools provide complete access to everything, allowing for the total conversion mods to be made. There is something for people who do not plan to mod the game with the several new locations added to the game.
