Supergiant Games, makers of Bastion, have unveiled their newest title - Transistor! From the announcement page, we get this gem of plot "players assume the role of a young woman who gains control of a powerful weapon after a mysterious group of assailants nearly kills her with it. Now she must fight from street to street against forces that will stop at nothing to recover the weapon." The art style and mechanics look similar to Bastion's, but the setting is completely different - and looks absolutely stunning! - so I'm putting myself down as someone who'll be grabbing this near launch - which is planned for Early 2014. There's currently no news on what platforms Transistor will be making an appearance on, other than they're working that out, but I'm guessing that an announcement about platforms will be made soon.
