Street Failer V

Over before it began, Capcom have already shutdown the first beta for Street Fighter V after, frankly, it was broken as all shit. Many people reported being unable to log on at all, whilst those who did manage found the game almost entirely unplayable. Of course, betas are intended to assist developers dealing with precisely these kinds of issues. But in this case, Capcom felt it severe enough to postpone further beta testing indefinitely.
However, they did offer assurances that there would be future, far more reliable, testing opportunities. Further adding that any testers from this period who were unable to redeem in-game incentives due to all the kerfuffle will have further opportunities to make up for it. With this botched effort not counting towards their previously planned trio of testing sessions.
In short, yeah, it's a pain in the neck. But this is what beta testing is all about, and Capcom aren't going to just leave you with your thumb up your arse.
