SteamBox Making an Appearance at CES

While the rumours regarding the SteamBox have been spreading all over the internet, Valve has announced that the SteamBox will be revealed this week at CES. Exciting news for everyone who wants to have a compact Steam gaming PC.
The SteamBox is being developed by Xi3Corporation in combination with Valve; the SteamBox will support Steam and its new Big Picture mode. Hopefully this means you can use both mouse and keyboard, or controllers on the console.
Xi3 President said the following:
"As a result, this new system could provide access to thousands of gaming titles through an integrated system that exceeds the capabilities of leading game consoles, but can fit in the palm of your hand."
Interesting thing is that Xi3 already tried to do a Kickstarter for their Modular Computers but it failed. Probably this is when Valve decided to come in so it probably isn't a failure after all.
If what he says is true, people will be holding their breath until they finally reveal this new console/PC.

Well as far as I get it, those specs are also just rumours as they said it's based on the X7A model, but didn't say yet how it will be for the SteamBox iteration of it.

It will have a 4-core CPU and 1TB storage device in it. Thats all there is for specs now.
