PayPal have let the cat out of the bag on the date of the Steam winter sale this year. We knew it'd be starting soon but now we have a likely accurate date of December 22. As most users are already aware, Valve changed the way they're handling Steam sales by removing the flash sales and other assorted gimmicks in favour of having a single discount that applies for the duration of the sale. The change has been met with some varying opinions after its debut in the autumn sale.
