Steam Store Gets Reporting Feat

So it seems like whether we like it or not, Steam is going to become a very open marketplace for games. That's got its good points, but it's also got some very bad ones. This comes with news of Valve adding a program reporting feature to Steam in the future that allows users to report programs for things like Pornography, being offensive, Legal Violations, Hate Speech, and Malware.
Looking at this list the "offensive" one stands out to me. I loved South Park: The Stick of Truth, but it's clearly an offensive game. South Park gets away with some crazy stuff and as a result so does the game. Hopefully games like that aren't going to get the axe or any other sort of trouble regarding people being mad when their feelings get hurt.
There's also the Fraud one, stuff like Malware. Do I really have to keep an eye out for some crappy Free to Play MMO that installs malware on my machine now? Yuck.
What do you guys think? I mean, obviously Steam isn't going anywhere, but is this a bad direction for the platform? I personally like a little quality control when it comes to marketplaces lest it turn into a mirror of the Newgrounds flash game section circa 2006.

I'm assuming that valve isn't stupid enough to give the general community the ability to remove games from steam without SOMEONE at Valve doing something.

They want to make it an automated, self-publishing platform

This worries me as people, being people, will start reporting games for no reason. Also, how the hell are games coming to the Steam store that are Fraud? Shouldn't Valve be controlling each game before putting it on their digital store???

My largest concern is that people are going to abuse this to flag games they don't like. What happens when 4chan gets a notion and decides they don't want anyone to be able to play Team Fortress 2 huh?

This literally means they're going to let anything through now? Especially with greenlight being made redundant at some point in the future? Oh good.
