So apparently over the weekend there were server outages with Steam and the group Lizard Squad, who previously took responsibility for an Xbox Live outage, is taking responsibility for it. I say "apparently" because I noticed all of jack and shit happening aside from a bit of Steam Marketplace wonkiness. Truth be told, I don't know if the folks down at Lizard Squad know this, but Steam going down for a bit barely affects anyone. Hell, you are talking about a client that is built around the fact that it tends to go down occasionally and DOES go down every time there's a Steam sale. Hell, I don't even know why this is considered news. Must we really lose our minds every time a group of scriptkiddies DDoS someone? I don't think so.
