Hey there Steam sale fans! It's that time of the year again where we get another huge Steam sale to empty our wallets into. Valve are taking a turn away from the usual sale structure to try another, supposedly fairer method; all the discounts will be consistent across the period of the sale, with highlighted items only getting more time in the limelight instead of larger discounts.
It remains to be seen if this method will be popular or not but the sale is running until December 1 so we'll have plenty of time to find out. Personally, I prefer the old style sales, waiting eagerly for the daily update to see what I can grab cheap made sale weeks far more entertaining than just checking the store for new releases each day.

The lack of daily/flash sales is a really good move on their part. As much as I liked being able to get those extra special special deals, it was a pain in the arse having to make sure I had money put aside and could actually be there at the right time. This is a lot more convenient
