State of Decay Still in the Works for PCs
State of Decay is a zombie-apocalypse game that's just been released on consoles, and it's been getting quite good reviews. Now, before all of you ask me why in the hell I'm telling this to a PC oriented crowd, or why any of you would still be interested in those damn zombies - hear me out. State of Decay is not just a GTA clone placed within a zombie apocalypse, you have your own group of survivors to manage, down to their relationships and feelings, which you can expand as the game goes along. Choices define how your group turns out, and apparently the whole lot of it is unscripted. Excited yet?
Well, then I've got some bad news for you. Although it was promised quite some time back that the PCs would be getting their fair share of this incredible-sounding game, Undead Labs community director Sanya Weathers stated that:
"We are still working on the PC version, and I don't have a really good estimate for completion. Too much depends on third parties. It isn't going to be soon by any meaningful use of the word 'soon'."
Well, points for honesty I guess, and at least they're still working on it. Watch here for more news on the PC version as, when and if it is revealed.
