Star Trek The Video Game How Were You Made?

By Merc19-04-2013

So much goes into making a video game that most people playing them do not even consider the time and effort that went into the enjoyment they have when sitting at their desk or on the couch. Sure, Star Trek is being made along side a movie and that is not always a good thing. Okay, almost always it is never a good thing. We will give them the benefit of the doubt and take a look at what they put into the game. Even if it is a movie game the development team still puts in a tremendous amount of work.

In this video you get a brief glimpse into the sound design and the authentic voice work. It really doesn't look terrible and using the actors from the movies goes a long way at making the game complete. They even went so far as to using the orchestra that played the music for the movie. We will get to see how the game holds up when it is released on April 26, but for now we can take a look and appreciate the effort that goes into game design. Also, any Star Trek fans excited for this game? Let us know in the comments.

Looking at screenshots and gameplay from this game... I can't help but smell another "The Walking Dead" incident. Activision's Walking Ded, of course.

I just dont know about games that are tied to movies there have been some decent ones but not many great games.

I don't think it's paying much attention to either film aside from being the same cast. It seems to be more of a spin-off, like a filler episode between meta-plot events sort of thing

I recently watched Star Trek to get myself ready for Into Darkness and it just feels a right fit for Abram's Star Trek to be turned into video game form.

Another thing it has going for it is the fact that it's not tied down as much as other film-games as I believe it's a bridging story between the first and upcoming second film?
