Good news for Sniper Elite fans! Sniper Elite 3 has been officially announced. The information has come out of an official financial release by 505 Games. The company will be announcing the title to the masses some time soon.
The title is expected to be released in 2014 and will be again developed by Rebellion. It will be coming for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and next-gen platforms as well.
While the PC was not mentioned on the financial release viewable here, there is no reason to exclude PC from the platforms and when Sniper Elite V2 was first announced they did the same.

Rebellion have stated that they want to make 3 more sandboxy. And that's exactly what V2 needed. So if they do it right, Sniper Elite 3 could turn out to be one awesome mofo in the end.

If they make at least half of the jump they did from SE1 to SE2 then it will be a great game. Also I hope Rebellion publish this on PC themselves again.
