Smite, Hi-Rez F2P Arena for Gods of all kinds and sizes has recieved an additional Deity ready to rumble. Bacchus, the Roman god for wine and intoxication, will now be availible to play in Smite's closed beta. As with many of the games Gods, Bacchus is directly inspired from Greek and Roman mythology. Being rather horizontally challenged, Bacchus will also remind League of Legends players of Gragas, the Rabble Rouser.

In Smite, Bacchus plays as a magical melee, having some rather interesting abilities that let him get close to the enemy fast and, with drunken friolity, smash them to tiny pieces. As with all new Gods of Smite, I simply cannot wait to try this one. So far, the developers have really managed to keep each new God unique and yet equally fun to play.
