The developers have revealed the 23rd God to be released for Smite’s Beta. The new God will be Ares, the Greek God of war. As seen in the video above.

For those who do not know what Smite is, it is a new free-to-play MOBA game that is currently in Closed Beta. Think of League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, DOTA 2 but then as a third person action game in which everything is a skill shot, including your basic attacks!

Also interesting is that the game is developed by Hi-Rez Studios, the same developers of Tribes and Global Agenda. If you want to know more about Smite, keep an eye out for our Smite Preview!

For those wanting to play Smite, this can be done in one of many ways. You can go to the official Smite website and pre-order a “Gems” bundle, this will give you access to the beta as well. You can also register for the beta at the same site.
