Sledgehammer for Call of Duty 2014?
Call of Duty, is a yearly released title that is developed alternatively by Activision owned Studios Infinity Ward and Treyarch. With Infinity Ward doing Call of Duty: Ghosts last year, everyone would assume that this year it is the turn of Treyarch. You would be wrong.
According to the Linkedin page of Sledgehammer Games, they are looking to recruit 10 or so people to work on a small project. Call of Duty 2014. They are also an Activision owned games studio, and did help Infinity Ward to develop Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, alongside Beachhead Studios.
If this is true, and Sledgehammer Games are doing the next COD game, then the development will be shifting to a 3 year cycle, seeing as 2011 Modern Warfare was completed. What will this mean for the series? Will we maybe see some new and interesting features in this year's release of Cal of Duty? This interesting news comes via NeoGaf Forums.
