Well, well, it was only a matter of time and now it's finally there, Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition. So then all you aspiring Shogun, hone your blades, string your bows and feed your steeds for war is once again coming to the Japan of old.

Included in the North American Gold Edition are all three titles:

• Total War: Shogun 2
• Total War: Shogun 2 - Rise of the Samurai
• and Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai

In other words, you Americans can enjoy the complete pack encompassing the whole timeframe in which one of the most intriguing civilizations rose with the words of the Bushido Code and fell before the metal storm of a Gatling gun.

Europeans and Australians will receive a different pack however. Fear not, all three titles will still be included coming in a limited edition Wajima-nuri inspired packaging. If that wasn't enough, we Europeans and you guys Down Under will also receive all of the released downloadable content excluding the, let's be honest, slightly meaningless 'Blood Pack':
