Yo jurors! Warner Bros. have just announced that the insanely popular Shadow of Mordor is getting a Game of The Year Edition on May 8th. So what do you get? Well, it's a standard GOTY version and not a remaster so you get the base game and all of its DLC additions in one package.

Is it worth the price? That depends. If you already own the base game you can probably find season pass keys somewhere for cheaper than the GOTY edition at this point. And since the GOTY isn't adding anything new this is definitely an option. However, if you don't already have the game this is likely the way to go.

As to the game itself. We didn't get to review it here but it's a fantastic game. It looks great, there's a lot to do, the combat is fun and the nemesis system is a game changer. If you've been on the fence about the game this might be the time to jump in. I recommend that you find a way to play it, even if you aren't heavily into the Lord of Rings mythos.
