Telltale's Game of Thrones is a game awaited by many, but also a very mysterious one. We first heard about it back in 2013 and since then no screens were published, making one wonder how well the development was progressing. The wait is now finally over! Below you will find the very first in-game screenshots, as reported by our colleagues on allgamesbeta.
On them we see a cast of familiar faces, remodeled and presented in a style resembling The Wolf Among Us, only less comic-like. Meet Cersei, Margaery and Tyrion(!), gaze upon the well-known Iron Throne and see who seems to be our protagonist. I must say that all this looks rather gorgeous, finely resembling the atmosphere of the TV series.
Let's wait for further updates, but as for now, one thing is certain for sure - Telltale seems to be doing a freaking nice job with the GoT licence!

That's...a lot less cel shaded than I was expecting. And for once, I'm actually calling that a good thing. Much as I love my highly stylised cel shading goodness, it simply would not suit the setting. I haven't even seen the show, or read the book, and I don't intend (although my lady Bunny has made me promise to watch it with her ¬_¬) to. But even I know it wouldn't work with their The Walking Dead artistic style
