In breaking news, a blog post from Ron Gilbert has surfaced, saying that it's time for him to leave Double Fine and strike out on his own. Thanking Double Fine and its employees for making him feel welcome the two years he was there working on The Cave, and hinting at a few things he's working on for the short term, Ron announced his departure. Tim Schafer has tweeted goodbye to Gilbert, wishing him luck in his future endeavours.
